Why should I choose MTO Clean as my cleaning service providor?

Here's how we are different:

  • We will meet with you to design a house cleaning plan specific to YOUR needs.  We do not use a ‘cookie cutter’ approach – our clients deserve better!
  • We schedule a reasonable number of homes for our maids to clean each day!  No more than three to four houses per day per team!!! (Some of our competitors schedule as many as 6 houses per day for a team of 2 cleaners).
  • Every maid our employee and has been thoroughly trained by MTO Clean.  We have performed a background check and drug test on each employee.  Unlike most other services, we also maintain a program for random drug testing of our employees to make sure they remain drug free after they are hired.
  • We motivate our employees with incentives based on your satisfaction and feedback about the quality of their work!  This helps make sure they do not rush when they clean your home!

Are you a member of any organizations like the BBB?

We are an accredited business, listed with the Better Business Bureau.  As of July 2011, only two cleaning businesses in St. Charles County have achieved accreditation with the BBB. 

Can I get a house cleaning quote over the phone?

We can give you a quote over the phone for planning and budgeting purposes.  We prefer to visit in person and get to know your needs so we can provide the most accurate and reasonable price based upon your personal needs.

Will you clean my home just once, or do you require a long-term arrangement?

Even though we are looking for clients who want their home cleaned on a regular recurring basis, we also enjoy cleaning for you on an occasional or one-time basis!!  We also do not require any long-term arrangements.  We believe we should earn you business each time we clean your home or business!! 

Do I need to be home while you clean?

We welcome meeting our clients and having them home when we clean!   We also clean many homes where the customer is not at home. It is your personal preference.

How do I pay for my cleaning service?

MTO Clean requests payment on the day of service.  Simply write a check for our maids to pick up on cleaning day or provide your credit card information (VISA or MasterCard) to our office personnel - - no one else has access to that information.  You may also leave cash in a clearly marked envelope for our maids if you wish. We are a professional organization registered with the IRS as an LLC and pay taxes on all income! If you pay by check or cash, we will look for your payment on the kitchen table or island!

How should I let my cleaning team in?

How your cleaning team enters your home is up to your personal preference.  You may choose to provide a garage door code, be home when we arrive, leave a key under the mat or provide MTO Clean with a key that we will keep locked at our office. We are VERY particular about securing your keys so they are safe and sound!!

Will the same team come each time to clean our home?

We try to send the same maids to your home for every appointment; however, we cannot guarantee it. Staff illness, vacation, etc. may result in a change of personnel.  Our main priority is to clean your home on schedule and with consistent quality.  If we do send another team, the quality of your cleaning should still be superb.

How many people will clean my home?

We operate in teams of 2, or we also offer solo cleaning staffers.  We think you should have the option of how many people are in your home cleaning!  Just another way MTO Clean has become ‘the personal touch people®’. 

Who provides the cleaning products used in my home?

We bring all of our own equipment and cleaning supplies.  Our clients never have to be concerned about what supplies they have on hand. We use commercial grade products purchased from a local manufacturer and distributor.  We think they provide the best cleaning products in the industry - - PLUS, the money we spend on these products stays in the St. Louis Metro area!! Also, our employees are thoroughly trained on correctly cleaning your home with the cleaning equipment and products we supply.

Can you use my cleaning products?

Unfortunately, we are not able to use products provided by our clients.  We are required to provide Material Safety Data Sheets to our employees for all chemicals they use while working for us. The employee must also be thoroughly trained in the proper usage of each chemical.

Can you use my vacuum cleaner?

Yes, we understand that in some situations a client may want us to use their vacuum cleaner.  We ask those clients to train our maids in the proper usage of their vacuum.  However, please be aware that we cannot be responsible for repairs if we accidentally break your machine.

What should I do if there is an issue with my cleaning?

MTO Clean strives to provide the highest quality service and your satisfaction is our primary concern.  However, we are human and we do occasionally make mistakes.  Please call us within 48 hours of our clean if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of our work.  We will schedule a team to come by the next business day and correct the problem…at no charge, of course. If the problem is minor and you just want us to make a note in your file, please call or email us! We love your feedback and consider it a great way to improve the service we offer!

How do I reschedule or skip a cleaning?

Please let us know 2 business days in advance if you need to reschedule or skip a cleaning.  This allows our staff to make plans based on their updated work schedule.
